CEG performed a detailed infrastructure system survey and developed a comprehensive building systems plan to provide additional electrical and mechanical capacity to a 40,000 square foot data center facility. Modifications were designed and integrated into an existing system architecture that included:
Design documents included full sequencing of all installation requirements to allow full data center operation during construction.
CEG recently completed design documents for a complete facility upgrade to accommodate the installation of a new 6,000 SF switch and DC Power installation. The project design includes:
CEG provided design engineering, project management, and construction management services for a major HVAC central plant upgrade at a Major Telecommunications Carrier's Regional Datacenter located in Oxnard, CA. Project scope included integration of new chiller system to provide required diversity to existing chiller system.
The project was completed on a fast track schedule to meet critical client timelines, and included pre-purchase of long lead equipment and separation of project into discrete work package to allow construction to be completed in a phased manner.
All work was specified, designed and installed with no interruption of client services.
CEG provided the detailed design and sequence of construction for a complete renovation of an existing 20,000 square foot operating data center. Approximately 750 operating equipment racks were replaced with new racks designed for High Heat Producing Equipment (HHPE). The total project scope was sequenced into six tightly controlled transition sequences, allowing full data center operation during construction. Project scope elements included:
